Wayne's Scripture

Well, I don’t really have a favorite scripture to pull from at this time but maybe a few chapters from the Bible which depicts a great example of doing the Lords work. In Genesis, chapters 37-47 (or so), Joseph, the son of Jacob, was basically mistreated by his brothers to the point of possible destruction, but events turned for Joseph as he was sold to Potiphar, of Eqypt. This is a very interesting story as it resembles and is an example of how Joseph continued to serve our Lord not matter what. Joseph had the ability because of his faithfulness to turn everything he experienced in to something good and of godly characteristics. I know we all have knowledge of stories such as this throughout the scriptures, but this one depicts a man that turned not so good situation in to good.

As it pertains to us in current day and as it pertains to our individual lives and situations, we can perceive any negative situation as a problem, but, what are we really doing with this problem if we don’t counteract with a solution to the problem…and where do we go to seek guidance?

This is my Sunday Commentary or Scripture.

I have found that if you try to solve life’s problems on your own, it doesn’t go so good. I have tried to rely on Heavenly Fathers help and guidance especially in the last few years. There is a lesson in every trial I go through. I have really learned unconditional love for my children with the unwise choices they have made. I have also learned not to judge others. I appreciate the love and patience of you all as I have also made unwise choices in my past. Family is very important to me. I love you all!!!!

Thanks for the scripture, that's definitely one to ponder. As I think about enduring I'm think of the fact that we have already been valiant in enduring our first estate. We made it, all of us! It's true we chose our Heavenly fathers plan, in the preexistence we chose Father and Christ over the other guy. Now we must remember we are still fighting that same war. The War is real. I pray we can use this scripture to remember to keep going, its not over till its over.

Sorry I put Larry's coment on this one, I got a bit mixed up.
Here is my coment...
Any situation we are put into can be looked at as a blessing or a punishment. As we take the situation and make the best of it no matter the circumstance it will bless our lives. For us... we had the heart ache of experiencing two miscarriages but now we have the blessing of knowing what a true miracle our children are. We can also wonder where God is at our hard times but those are truly the times when he is holding us. Great Scripture Wayne.

Thanks for your S.S. Wayne. Joseph is one the great ones in the Bible and he did remain faithful no matter what. It makes me think of another Joseph and what he went through to restore the true church back to the earth. Joseph of the Bible is our forefather and where would we be without him. I am very greatful for both of the Josephs that we have in our history. The Lord puts us in some hard spots sometimes and it is up to us to make the most of it. Sure love you all. Have a great week and be safe, you are all in my prayers daily.
